Meet Dr Jamie's team

Jamie specialises in international, constitutional and regulatory law.

He is a Fellow and Director of Studies in Law at Wolfson College, University of Cambridge, and a Fellow of the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, Faculty of Law, University of Cambridge.

His academic research focuses on international territorial disputes, self-determination and human rights, and he has published widely in these areas. He also teaches undergraduates and postgraduates at the University of Cambridge.

Jamie divides his time between Cambridge and Gibraltar. As a Consultant at ISOLAS, he works closely with colleagues at the firm on public, administrative and regulatory matters.

He is frequently instructed by the Government of Gibraltar on a wide range of international legal matters.

He was appointed King’s Counsel in 2023.

 

Jamie regularly advises banks and investment firms on contentious and non-contentious regulatory issues. He also provides advice to regulators and other public bodies.
