ISOLAS LLP are paving the way for your long-term career. We are looking to recruit dedicated individuals who aspire to contribute to the continuing success of the firm, whilst developing their own career across a range of different practice areas.
What is the Training Contract Scheme?
ISOLAS LLP has developed an in-depth training contract programme, having been approved by the Supreme Court to be an authorised training establishment in Gibraltar.
We are also an authorised training provider with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), and our trainees are able to undertake their two year period of recognised training in order to qualify as a solicitor in the UK.
As a trainee lawyer at Isolas, you will be working as part of a team of astute professionals, operating in a fast paced, high performance environment. We are committed to investing in our training contract scheme to allow us to develop talented and ambitious individuals, who will grow with our firm and contribute to its ongoing success.
Primarily focuses on the admission process to the Gibraltar Bar with the aim of admission at the end of that year. Successful applicants will be required to complete both; The Professional Skills Course and The Professional Certificate of Competence in Gibraltar Law. Both courses are offered at the University of Gibraltar and will be funded by the firm.
Once the trainee lawyer has been admitted in Gibraltar, the trainee will normally work in the department(s) that they intend to specialise in, in order to further their training and build on the skills and knowledge developed in year one.
You will consolidate your skills in Commercial Law, Litigation, Private Client, and Property Law.
