ISOLAS are proud to have been instructed by Her Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar in relation to the legislation forming the framework to the establishment of an Office of Fair Trading in Gibraltar. The legislation has already been issued as a Green Paper and will shortly be debated in Parliament.
The Government has been keen, throughout this project, to involve the public in its work. On the 5th February this year, Sarah Miles of our firm participated in an event held aboard the Sunborn Hotel, in which, alongside the Minister for Business and Employment, the most important features of the new legislation were explained and suggestions put forward by various local businesses were discussed.
