ISOLAS LLP has advised on the acquisition of Europa Point Football Club Limited
Specialist Sports Lawyers at Law firm ISOLAS LLP has advised Andrew Pritchard on the acquisition of Europa Point Football Club Limited. This followed Mr. Pritchard’s successful application to become a relevant person with the Gibraltar Football Association (GFA).
Europa Point Football Club Limited operates the Europa Point F.C., which currently plays in the Gibraltar National League, a football league established by the GFA.
The GFA was formed in 1895 and in May 2013 was admitted as the 54th full member of UEFA, European football’s governing body. In 2016, the GFA was also admitted as the 211th full member of FIFA, world football’s governing body.
In a statement, Mr Pritchard said: “I’d like to thank Stuart and his team at ISOLAS LLP for their help to navigate through the Gibraltar Football Association’s Owners and Directors Regulations.
“The process finally concluded on 16th July 2020. At times it seemed an impossible task, but with Stuart’s professionalism and dedication to the task, I am very pleased to finally become a relevant person. The focus can now move to improving young footballers in Gibraltar”.
This transaction was led by Senior Associate, Stuart Dalmedo and Partner, Steven Caetano.
