ISOLAS LLP has welcomed its 2023 intake to the firm’s annual summer work experience programme, our mini-pupillage scheme.
The programme which is open to those who are currently studying law at university, as well as undergraduates with an interest in pursuing a legal career, has welcomed seven students who will be with us for two weeks, where they are being provided with an insight into a career in law.
Senior Associates Danielle Victor, Michael Adamberry, Nick Isola and Justin Rodriguez are coordinating this year’s programme, which is aimed at strengthening the students’ legal skills and experience.
ISOLAS’ Associates and Trainee lawyers, also take an active role in the programme, assisting with tasks and offering students real-life advice and support.
The students will undertake various tasks include legal drafting, research, debates, mock trials, and mock client interviews that have been designed to provide as much experience to students as possible, with the aim to prepare them for the real-life experience of working in a law firm. The scheme also includes team building activities to develop the students’ interpersonal skills.

Giving them the opportunity to develop confidence in their ability and legal skills, working alongside lawyers at all levels within the firm. The students this year are an impressive and talented group of women who we are proud to mentor on their pathway into a legal career. “
