Summer Legal Scheme

Deciding where to start your career is a big decision. Undertaking our Summer Legal Scheme is the first step towards a career at ISOLAS LLP, and will enable you to balance real work with training and networking to allow you to discover if ISOLAS LLP is the right firm for you.

The ISOLAS LLP Summer Legal Scheme provides students with first-hand legal experience through a range of different tasks, including; drafting documents, undertaking legal research, attending client meetings and where possible, attending court. Your hands-on learning will be complemented by tailored workshops, discussions and debates, which will provide you with experience in a range of different practice areas to give you valuable insight into life as a lawyer at Isolas.

Social events will also be organised throughout the two-week scheme, giving you plenty of opportunity to network with lawyers from all stages of their career at ISOLAS; from Trainees to Partners, who will be available to answer your questions and give you an insight into the life and culture of the firm.

In addition, successful applicants will have an opportunity to be interviewed after the Summer Legal Scheme providing them with a greater understanding of how their legal career may progress at ISOLAS LLP.

Summer Legal Scheme students will be paid for their attendance on the Scheme.

 

Who should apply?

The Summer Legal Scheme is aimed at anyone who is currently studying Law at University and is interested in applying for one of our Training Contract Schemes in the near future.

Important dates

Applications for our 2026 Summer Legal Scheme are now open. The scheme will take place from Monday 6 July to Friday 17 July 2026.
