Trainee Legal Secretary Role
ISOLAS LLP are looking to recruit a full-time Junior Legal Secretary to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to embark on a rewarding career.
No prior legal secretarial experience is necessary, as we will provide comprehensive on-the-job training by an experienced Legal Secretary, to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
The role: You will play a vital role providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support.
Responsibilities:
Assist with various secretarial duties, including:
Copy typing of letters, legal documents, and file notes.
Dealing with client enquiries (both in person and via telephone).
Maintaining accurate records and updating contact lists.
Preparing and processing invoices.
Assisting with diary management and meeting scheduling.
Opening, updating, and closing client files.
General administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
Qualifications
Applicants must be 18 years of age or over and must be in possession of:
5 GCSE passes at grades A, B or C, to include English Language and Maths.
Skills required :
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and results-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines.
