Nicholas joined ISOLAS in March 2021 and is currently working alongside Partner Sarah Bray in the property department and Emma Lejeune in the private client team.
Nicholas graduated from the University of Kent with a degree in Law and Politics in 2017. He then attended BPP University in London where he undertook the LLM Legal Practice Course.
Before his training at ISOLAS, he undertook the Gibraltar Professional Skills Course at the University of Gibraltar where he also completed the Professional Certificate of Competence in Gibraltar Law and was awarded a distinction.
Throughout his training contract at ISOLAS, Nicholas undertook seats in the areas of Property law, Corporate and Commercial law, and Private Client and was approved, admitted, and enrolled as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Gibraltar in September 2022, and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in April 2023.
Before moving to Gibraltar, Nicholas gained experience in real estate, corporate and commercial law, whilst working in two prominent law firms in London as a paralegal.
Nicholas has particular experience in assisting landlords with all aspects of their commercial property including drafting and negotiating commercial leases and licenses and advising on business tenancy terminations.
Nicholas advises clients on the sale and purchasers of properties in Gibraltar, banks and lenders in relation to financing and security over premises. He reviews and approves assignments on behalf of management companies as well as acting on off-plan projects and land acquisitions.
Nicholas assists in advising high-net-worth individuals with their business and personal affairs. He has taken an interest in advising family offices on their requirements. Nicholas is currently and Affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and working towards being a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner specialising in advising family offices.
